Teaching Methodology
Teaching methodology at GCM is modern and virtually student-centered. It is supported by much updated teaching learning techniques that involve active classroom participation of students and faculties. The multiple teaching methods are: in-depth textual analysis and comprehensive in-class exercise, studies and analyses of Nepalese business cases.
The college has been using the following teaching methods and aids to excel the teaching-learning process.

All these techniques are tested and trusted active teaching learning means in the modern academics.
Attendance and Evaluation
To achieve the target objective of active learning, attendance and evaluation are the integral parts of regular study program. Attendance and evaluation at GCM are undertaken in the modules as follows:
- Electronic card based automatic attendance recording and regular follow up system.
- Minimum of 90 percent attendance of total working days in order to qualify to appear the final examinations.
- Compulsory pass out through three unit and three terminal tests.
- Computerized data base of examinations and personal records of each student to disseminate immediate
suggestions/actions for improvements. - Regular monitoring and feedback after each and every student activity at their personal ground to be conveyed to guardians.
Social events
Promoting active participation in social events and in needed hour, a noble concept of social responsibility is intently instilled in the students at GCM. To achieve this goal, students are highly motivated for active participation and encouraged to lend supportive hands to the needed section in the immediate vicinity and across the nation. GCM scholars regularly participate in social events like social awareness program, blood donation, fund collection campaigns during natural calamities and many more voluntary social services.
Codes of conduct
Living in a society requires everyone to abide by rules in order to achieve the celebrated values of the society. GCM is a society of professionals and aims at imparting quality education along with high degree of social respect and morality. Therefore, GCM gives importance to right attitude and discipline.
Writing and publishing
GCM regularly offers writing competitions throughout the year. Students themselves are involved in such programs and also publish newsletters and college magazines. In addition, a wide range of contests like debates, quizzes, music, singing and more….. are organized on the occasions. Utmost attempt is made to ensure the participation of every individual student.
Industrial visits
The college has established official links with many business houses in and out of Kathmandu valley so that students have an opportunity to visit and explore various business related skills, components and commercial culture system. These industrial visits and internships help to build up self confidence in students as well as gain practical experience. GCM organizes industrial visits for students of business studies, hotel management and travel and tourism.
Cafeteria
The college cafeteria serves healthy meals and snacks to students and staff at reasonable prices. The students at their break times are served with hygienic meals and snacks menu-wise on weekdays.
Sports
There are many popular sporting programs, coaching activities and events at the college. Out -door sport events are held in the form of regular inter-section matches. There are many opportunities for students to develop their fitness and health in a noncompetitive way within the college premises also.
Library
The college provides up-dated and rich library facilities to help making teaching-learning process more resourceful and complete. It has a wide collection of books, periodicals, videos and CD-ROMs. The stock of audiovisual materials besides the access to e-library is ever extended with a view to ascertain wide range of self study experience.
Computer lab
The college computer lab is technically well equipped with branded LCD computers and unlimited internet facility.
Transportation
The college deputes number of buses for easy conveyance of students in and around ring road at a very reasonable cost.
Time schedule
The college has varying time schedules for different academic levels:
+2 AND BBS PROGRAMS:
Morning Shift: 6:40 am to 11:00 am (both in winter and summer)
Day Shift: 11:25 am to 3:45 pm
MBS PROGRAM:
Morning shift: 6:00 am to 9:00 am (Sunday – Friday)
Morning Shift: 8:00 am to 10:30 am every alternate Saturdays.
